Referencing the introduction already made above, this is a notice to all aspirants who wish to apply for admission into any of the universities in Nigeria to study Fine and Industrial Arts under the faculty of Engineering, Environment and Technology that the list of compulsory subjects as well as optional subjects required in O level result (WAEC and NECO) before applying for admission into Fine and Industrial Arts has been published in this post.
As mentioned above, some of these NECO and WAEC subject requirements are compulsory which means you need to have at least a minimum of Credit passes (C6) in them in your o level result before you can use it to apply for admission to study Fine and Industrial Arts.
Also, keep in mind that some schools may have special subject combination requirements for the subjects that are eligible to be used in JAMB before one can gain admission into Fine and Industrial Arts. The WAEC subjects required to study Fine and Industrial Arts are as follows:

Five SSCE passes to include English Language, Mathematics, Fine Arts and two other from social science subject.
Mathematics, Arts and one Social Science subject.
For NTC the other two relevant subjects could be from any of the following: Decorative Painting; Spray Painting, Lining, Sign and Design; Wall Handling, Colour Mixing/
For NTC the other two relevant subjects could be from any of the following: Decorative Painting; Spray Painting, Lining, Sign and Design; Wall Handling, Colour Mixing/Matching and Glazing; Graphic Painting; Ceramics; Basic Electricity; Building/Engineering Drawing.

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks

(i) UNIUYO accepts a pass (P7) in Mathematics. The department will assess the candidate’s real art pieces.
