WAEC Subjects Required for Electrical Engineering

Referencing the introduction already made above, this is a notice to all aspirants who wish to apply for admission into any of the universities in Nigeria to study Electrical Engineering under the faculty of Engineering, Environment and Technology that the list of compulsory subjects as well as optional subjects required in O level result (WAEC and NECO) before applying for admission into Electrical Engineering has been published in this post.
As mentioned above, some of these NECO and WAEC subject requirements are compulsory which means you need to have at least a minimum of Credit passes (C6) in them in your o level result before you can use it to apply for admission to study Electrical Engineering.
Also, keep in mind that some schools may have special subject combination requirements for the subjects that are eligible to be used in JAMB before one can gain admission into Electrical Engineering. O Level (WAEC and NECO) Subject Requirements For Electrical Engineering

The WAEC subjects required to study Electrical Engineering are as follows:

Five SSCE credit passes including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English Language.

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks

(i) RSUST accepts further Mathematics in lieu of Mathematics and requires Agricultural Science or Biology as the fifth subject.

(ii) UNIPORT requires the fifth credit pass in any Science subject preferably Further Mathematics.

(iii) UNN requires five O’ level credit passes to include, Physics, Chemistry Mathematics, in not more than two sittings
