Referencing the introduction already made above, this is a notice to all aspirants who wish to apply for admission into any of the universities in Nigeria to study Mass Communication under the faculty of Administration that the list of compulsory subjects as well as optional subjects required in O level result (WAEC and NECO) before applying for admission into Mass Communication has been published in this post.
As mentioned above, some of these NECO and WAEC subject requirements are compulsory which means you need to have at least a minimum of Credit passes (C6) in them in your o level result before you can use it to apply for admission to study Mass Communication.

The WAEC subjects required to study Mass Communication are as follows:

Five SSCE credit passes to include English Language, Literature in English and Government plus at least a pass in Mathematics.

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks

(i) RSUST requires credits in Mathematics, Economics and any other 3 subjects.

(ii) ESUT requires a credit in Economics and accepts History or Government.

(iii) WELLSPRING accepts a pass in Mathematics provided the candidate has a total of five credits including English language, Government/History, and Literature.

(iv) CRUTECH requires credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Literature in English, Mathematics, Government and any other Social Science or Arts subjects.
