Referencing the introduction already made above, this is a notice to all aspirants who wish to apply for admission into any of the universities in Nigeria to study Political Science under the faculty of Arts and Humanities that the list of compulsory subjects as well as optional subjects required in O level result (WAEC and NECO) before applying for admission into Political Science has been published in this post.
As mentioned above, some of these NECO and WAEC subject requirements are compulsory which means you need to have at least a minimum of Credit passes (C6) in them in your o level result before you can use it to apply for admission to study Political Science.

O Level (WAEC and NECO) Subject Requirements For Political Science
The WAEC subjects required to study Political Science are as follows:
Five SSCE credit passes to include English Language, Government/History and any other three subjects from Arts/Social Science with at least a pass in Mathematics.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) ADELEKE accepts five O’ level credit passes obtained at not more than two sittings in relevant subjects to include English Language, Government, Mathematics and any other two Social Science subjects.
(ii) FUWUKARI – Same as in Economics.
(iii) FULOKOJA requires credit passes in English Language, Government/History, two Social Science subjects and any other subject. Candidates must have at least a pass in Mathematics.
