WAEC Subjects Required for Food Science and Nutrition

As mentioned above, some of these NECO and WAEC subject requirements are compulsory which means you need to have at least a minimum of Credit passes (C6) in them in your o level result before you can use it to apply for admission to study Food Science and Nutrition.

O Level (WAEC and NECO) Subject Requirements For Food Science and Nutrition

The WAEC subjects required to study Food Science and Nutrition are as follows:

Five SSCE credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology/Agric, Science, Physics, Basic Catering and Food Services, Bakery and Confectioneries, Hotel and Catering Crafty course (Cookery), Hotel and Catering Craft Course (Food /Drinks Services) and Basic Electricity.

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks

(i) FUTMINNA accepts any one of Physics, geography, Economics, Home Economics, Food and nutrition as the fifth subject. At least a pass in Physics is required.
