With that introduction, this is a notice to all JAMB candidates that JAMB subject combination for Accounting has been released by the management of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board.
Some of these subjects required to study Accounting are compulsory while some are optional. You need to pay attention and understand the subjects that are compulsory as well as the ones that are optional so you can make a better decision in your selection of subjects.

The list of subjects you need to write in JAMB for Accounting are as follows:

Mathematics, Economics and any other Social Science subject.

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks

(i) EKSU require Economics, Mathematics, and any Social Science subject.

(ii) BOWEN requires Government for Public Administration.

(iii) UNIBEN (for Public Administration) requires Government/History, one Social Science subject and any other subject.

(iv) UNICAL requires Government, Economics, Geography, Mathematics, Accounting and Commerce.

(v) WESTERN-DEL (For Business Administration) requires Mathematics, Economics and any other Social Science subject.

(vi) AUE requires five credit passes to English Language, Mathematics and any threes from Economics, Geography, Commerce, Government, Accounts and Book-Keeping at not more than two sittings.

(vii) UMYUK requires for Public Administration Government or History.

(viii) NTNU accepts Economics/Principle of Accounting and any two Arts or Social Sciences subjects.

(ix) CRESCENT:
(a) for Business Administration requires Mathematics, English Language, Economics and Government/Commerce or any other social science subject.
(b) For Accounting requires English Language, Economics, Mathematics and Geography/Commerce/ Government.

(x) OOU accepts Mathematics/Economics and any two other Social Science subjects.

(xi) BAYERO requires Government or History plus two other Social Science subjects.

(xii) MOUA requires one of Government, Principles of Account,CRK and Geography as the fourth subject.

Bear in mind that in JAMB, english language also known as use of english is compulsory for all courses. So if it was not included above, keep in mind that it is always required.
