With that introduction, this is a notice to all JAMB candidates that JAMB subject combination for Industrial Design has been released by the management of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board.
Some of these subjects required to study Industrial Design are compulsory while some are optional. You need to pay attention and understand the subjects that are compulsory as well as the ones that are optional so you can make a better decision in your selection of subjects.

JAMB Subject Combination For Industrial Design

The list of subjects you need to write in JAMB for Industrial Design are as follows:

Chemistry, Mathematics and Fine Art/Physics

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks

(i) ABU accepts NCE (Double Major) in Art and ND/HND (credit) in relevant fields.

(ii) ABU accepts
a. “A” level / IJMB passes in Chemistry, and any of Physics and Mathematics
b. ND in Glass Technology pass at Credit level. from accredited institution
c. NCE in Chemistry, pass at credit level.
d. HND in Science, Materials Science and Engineering, or in Chemical Engineering at Credit level from accredited institution.

(iii) BAUCHI accepts ND/HND (upper credit) NCE (Double Major) in Fine Art, A’ Level in Fine and Applied Arts.

(iv) FUTA accepts two (2) ‘A’ level passes in at least two subjects from the following: Mathematics, Chemistry, Geography, Physics, Fine Art, Technical Drawing or Economics

(vi) MAUTECH accepts
(a) Two or three GCE `A’ Level passes one of which must be in Fine Art/Technical Drawing
(b) NCE Double Major in Fine Arts
(c) ND/HND with Upper credit in Art Design

Bear in mind that in JAMB, english language also known as use of english is compulsory for all courses. So if it was not included above, keep in mind that it is always required.
